Lid and base rigid structure · Uncoated text paper wrap · Gold foil and embossed logo · Die-cut foam tray
Custom 3 bottle wine gift box — MOQ 500 pcs
This wine gift set box is engineered for wine estates, private labels and gift-set assemblers who pack three 100ml bottles in one presentation unit. The lid and base construction uses 1200g greyboard wrapped in uncoated text paper, so the surface keeps a natural, dry-touch feel while printing stays razor sharp.
A die-cut EVA foam tray locks each 100ml bottle into its own cavity. Bottles cannot knock against each other during container loading or last-mile delivery, which is the single biggest complaint buyers raise on small-bottle sets. The tray is removable, so the same box converts into a display tray after the bottles are sold.
Branding is delivered with hot gold foil stamping plus blind embossing on the lid. Foil is registered to your logo within ±0.2mm, and the embossed relief is built into the die rather than printed on top, so it survives handling and keeps a tactile finish that photographs well in lifestyle and social content.
Uncoated paper is also the practical choice for European and North American buyers pushing recyclability claims: the wrap is plastic-film free, the greyboard core is recycled fibre, and the box flat-ships at 40% of its assembled volume to cut freight cost on the small wine bottle gift box volume you actually pay for.
|
Lid and base, no hinge to fail A full-depth lid overlaps the base by 18mm. No magnet, no hinge, no latch to break in transit — the lowest claim rate of any wine box structure we run. |
Foam tray, zero bottle contact EVA tray with 100ml cavities at 1.5mm clearance plus a 3mm head pad. Glass-to-glass contact is eliminated before the carton is even closed. |
|
|
Gold foil with embossed relief Foil and emboss sit in one pass on the same die. Registration within ±0.2mm keeps thin serif logos clean instead of bleeding at the edges. |
Uncoated text paper, no film Plastic-lamination-free wrap supports recyclability messaging in the EU and US, and takes debossing and letterpress detail without cracking. |
|
|
Flat-ship design Ships knocked down. 40% of assembled cube, so ocean freight per unit drops and warehouse shelving goes further on the wine packaging boxes wholesale order. |
Reusable presentation tray Buyers keep the box after the bottles are gone. That extends brand exposure well past the first pour — a point worth putting in your own listing copy. |

Main application: wine set product packaging — three small-format bottles sold as one gift unit. The table below maps what buyers of a wine gift box actually ask before placing an order, and how this box answers each point.
| Scenario | What Buyers Care About | How This Box Solves It |
|---|---|---|
| Wine tasting set box (3 x 100ml) | Bottles rattling and clinking inside one box | Separate EVA cavities plus head pad — no glass-to-glass contact at any point |
| Mini wine bottle gift box | Small bottles look lost in an oversized box | Box is dimensioned to the 100ml bottle, so the tray reads as a fitted set, not filler |
| Dessert wine gift box | Premium positioning must match the retail price | Gold foil plus embossed relief on uncoated stock gives a high-end tactile read at low unit cost |
| Liquor gift box & spirits samplers | Same box must hold different bottle diameters | Tray cavities are cut per SKU; one structure, several insert versions, no new tooling cost |
| Winery cellar door & duty-free | Shelf appeal with no plastic window | Foil logo catches store lighting; optional die-cut window keeps the wrap film-free |
| Corporate & holiday gifting | Reusable, presentable, easy to hand over | Rigid lid-and-base stays square after reuse; tray doubles as a serving display |
| E-commerce & subscription wine clubs | Damage rate and freight cost per unit | Flat-ship saves 60% cube inbound; rigid walls survive parcel sortation better than folding cartons |
| Retail multipack of wine samples | Compliance labels need clean flat panels | Lid and base offer four flat print panels for ingredients, warnings and barcodes |
Size. Send your bottle height and diameter. We return a dieline drawing within 24 hours and a physical mock-up on request. For a wine bottle gift box holding three 100ml bottles we usually land between 200 × 90 × 95mm and 230 × 105 × 110mm, depending on shoulder shape.
Paper. Uncoated text paper in 120g–157g is the default for this build. Swap to kraft for an eco friendly wine packaging story, or to textured specialty stock if the brand sits in premium spirits. All are recyclable as one paper stream.
Branding. Gold, rose gold, silver or copper foil; blind or registered emboss; letterpress; spot UV. Foil dies are made once and reused across reorders, so the embossed logo paper box cost per unit falls from the second run onward.
Insert. EVA foam is standard. Paper pulp, moulded pulp or PET alternatives are available if your market rejects foam. Cavity layout can be 3 x 100ml, 2 x 200ml, or mixed with a glass or accessory slot.
Closure & extras. Standard overlap lid; optional ribbon pull, satin insert card, booklet pocket, or a wax-seal style sticker. These are the small add-ons that lift perceived value on a luxury wine packaging listing without changing the outer carton footprint.
Boxes are delivered flat and sleeved, then assembled at destination. That keeps the wine carrier box freight cube at roughly 40% of the assembled volume. Timings below are working days and start from the milestone shown in each row.

From first inquiry to goods in your warehouse — eleven steps, each with the point you should personally verify before the project moves on.
| Step | Stage | What Happens | What You Should Check |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Inquiry | You send bottle size, box requirement, estimated quantity and target delivery date | State the bottle height and diameter. Without these, any structural quote is a guess. |
| 02 | Requirement review | Our engineer reviews bottle fit, structure and market compliance needs | Flag any plastic-free or recyclability claims you plan to publish, so the spec supports them. |
| 03 | Quotation | Detailed quotation with material, printing, tray, tooling and freight broken out | Check what is included: tooling, sample fee, artwork redraw and whether terms are FOB, CIF or DDP. |
| 04 | Order confirmation | Proforma invoice issued, deposit received, production slot booked | Confirm the ship date in writing and note the deposit percentage and balance trigger. |
| 05 | Artwork & dieline | Dieline issued, your artwork placed, foil and emboss layers separated for proofing | Approve the dieline before designing. Bleed is 3mm and fonts must be outlined. |
| 06 | Sample production | Printed sample made and, where supplied, fitted to your actual bottle | Test the fit yourself with a filled bottle. Check foil registration under both daylight and store lighting. |
| 07 | Sample approval | Signed sample or written approval locks the specification | Once approved, changes after this point restart plate and die work at your cost. |
| 08 | Mass production | Printing, foil, emboss, die-cutting, mounting and tray cutting run to the approved spec | Ask for in-line photos at first-off. This is the cheapest moment to catch a colour shift. |
| 09 | Quality check | 100% pre-shipment inspection with photo report on foil, emboss, glue and count | Review the photo report. Raise any concern before the cartons are sealed and trucked. |
| 10 | Shipment | Booking confirmed, goods loaded, B/L and full document set issued | Check the B/L consignee details against your customs broker record before telex release. |
| 11 | Delivery & after-sales | Landed at destination; assembly guidance provided; reorders use existing plates and dies | Inspect the cartons on arrival and photograph any damage before signing the delivery note. |
